In this blog posting, we are going to cover a short introduction on Web 2.0 and it’s effect online.
We probably don’t need to write a novel to tell you how hot Web 2.0 is right now. It’s literally taking over the Internet and those who are jumping on board are loving the ride. Web 2.0 properties are great for people to socialize on the Internet and share their thoughts, ideas and likes.
The Web 2.0 evolution has turned the Internet into an extremely social place allowing broad communication. Before that it was just e-mail and instant messaging. Now it’s video, audio, pictures, and text.
This is a good thing because it means that the visitors on the Internet are becoming more interactive.
That means that if you have a product to promote they will be more proactive toward buying it (if they’re targeted that is).
You’ve also probably experienced the wave of web 2.0 media hitting the web yourself just by using web 2.0 sites like YouTube and MySpace as well as many others. They are great sites that allow you to interact and be entertained.
